Following the success of our event at LISW<\/a>, MarRI-UK, the University of Southampton and ACUA Ocean are pleased to invite you to a live demonstration of Hydrogen Fuels for the powering uncrewed vessel<\/strong>. This event will showcase hydrogen’s potential as a clean maritime fuel and its critical role in the next generation of uncrewed systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to site restrictions, a live demonstration was not possible in London. This Plymouth event will give attendees the chance to hear about lessons learnt operating a USV with a hydrogen fuel cell, see how a shoreside Hydrogen Fuel Cell is used to charge and power an un-crewed vessel, and watch USV Pioneer manoeuvre at sea during a live demonstration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

About USV PIONEER<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

PIONEER, a hydrogen-powered USV, is the first vessel to receive regulatory approval for a remotely operated and unmanned vessel (ROUV) under the Maritime and Coastguard Agency\u2019s (MCA) Workboat Code Edition 3 (WBC3) Annex 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the demonstration takes place in Plymouth, which may not be accessible for everyone, the event will be offered in hybrid format<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
