{"id":1669,"date":"2024-09-17T14:48:38","date_gmt":"2024-09-17T14:48:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marri-uk.org\/?p=1669"},"modified":"2024-09-17T14:52:50","modified_gmt":"2024-09-17T14:52:50","slug":"uk-national-clean-maritime-research-hubs-wave-2-flexible-funding-call","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marri-uk.org\/index.php\/2024\/09\/17\/uk-national-clean-maritime-research-hubs-wave-2-flexible-funding-call\/","title":{"rendered":"UK National Clean Maritime Research Hub&#8217;s Wave 2: Flexible Funding Call"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Through a total of 4 waves of Responsive Research calls, the UK National Clean Maritime Research Hub (UK-MaRes Hub) aims to fund up to 30 world-leading responsive research projects.&nbsp;<strong>Funding for approximately 7 projects is available under Wave 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The full economic cost (fEC) of each successful project (excluding any project partner contributions) can be up to \u00a350,000, of which the UK-MaRes Hub will fund 80% fEC (as is standard for EPSRC funded calls). In addition to the funding requested from the Hub, as a requirement for this call, we also require equivalent match funding to be leveraged from your project partners on a 1:1 basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Proposals are invited to address 5<strong>&nbsp;priority research areas<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">1. Real-time vessel data communication<br>2. Risk and uncertainty regarding marine regulations and policy implications<br>3. Novel energy-saving devices to improve vessel efficiency<br>4. Novel cost-effective nuclear propulsion systems<br>5.
