{"id":2739,"date":"2025-11-25T09:46:15","date_gmt":"2025-11-25T09:46:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marri-uk.org\/?p=2739"},"modified":"2025-11-25T09:46:15","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T09:46:15","slug":"marri-uk-launches-uk-maritime-research-and-technology-roadmap-with-inaugural-newcastle-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marri-uk.org\/index.php\/2025\/11\/25\/marri-uk-launches-uk-maritime-research-and-technology-roadmap-with-inaugural-newcastle-workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"MarRI-UK Launches UK Maritime Research and Technology Roadmap with Inaugural Newcastle Workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>MarRI-UK is thrilled to announce the successful launch of the UK Maritime Research and Technology Roadmap initiative with our first workshop at the&nbsp;<strong>Port of Tyne Innovation Hub in Newcastle<\/strong>&nbsp;on 12 Nov 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This milestone event brought together MarRI-UK members and key stakeholders from across the maritime sector to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Explore critical themes shaping the industry\u2019s future<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assess the current research and technology landscape<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify priority building blocks for innovation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A huge thank you to&nbsp;<strong>Dr Jo North<\/strong>, Technology and Transformation Director at Port of Tyne, and&nbsp;<strong>Jake Rigby<\/strong>, BMT (Chair of MarRI-UK\u2019s Technical Working Group), for expertly facilitating an engaging and productive session.
