Navigating the Future: Industry and Research Collaboration for a National Maritime Roadmap

MarRI-UK is pleased to announce its first Seawork workshop this year, taking place in Southampton, on 11 June 2025. The event will focus on Industry and Research Collaboration for a National Maritime Roadmap.

MarRI-UK is launching the delivery of the UK National Maritime Roadmap with our members and partners. By aligning government, industry, and research institutions, the roadmap aims to coordinate national efforts to address challenges, such as technological advancements, sustainability, and economic competitiveness. By guiding resource allocation, fostering collaboration, and preparing for crises, a national roadmap strengthens the sector’s resilience, improves national security, and enhances global competitiveness, ultimately driving economic growth and creating jobs.

This workshop will focus on two specific themes of the roadmap: Clean Maritime and the impact of Floating Offshore Wind. In this collaborative session we will be working to capture the core challenges and research priorities. If you would like to have your voice heard and see what we already have on the plot, join up today!
