Founded in 2019 to help spur on the Government’s Maritime 2050 agenda, with founding members from across the British Maritime Sector, MarRI-UK has grown into a collaborative research organisation with 21 members representing the best of British industry, academia and not-for-profits.
From project managing over 23 government funded projects, publishing numerous reports and articles, facilitating funding bids and helping provide coordination between industry and government, MarRI-UK has done a lot over the last four years, but this is just the beginning. With a refreshed strategy and an invigorated purpose MarRI-UK looks forward to accelerating the delivery of world-leading research and innovation for the UK maritime sector through collaboration. The future of UK maritime is still to be shaped, and together with our members, we truly believe the best is yet to come.
