John is the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Babcock International Group and is a member of the Group’s Executive Committee. He joined Babcock in 2001, spending most of his time in the company’s Marine Sector, most recently as Chief Executive.
John is a Visiting Professor at Strathclyde University, a Director of the Society of Maritime Industries, a member of the Glasgow Economic Leadership Board, Chair of Maritime Research & Innovation UK, a member of Scottish Engineering’s Executive Committee and a past Chairman of the CBI in Scotland.
He is married with two children.
