The DASHPOP project aims to:
1) connect freight transport data (maritime, port & hinterland) to achieve integrated logistics chain information as a basis for deriving port and logistics performance indicators, with the objective to improve port corridor operational and environmental performance. 2) leverage recent technological breakthroughs in the field of big data and data analysis so as to effectively connect transport data (maritime & inland) to achieve logistics chain information, as a basis for deriving port performance indicators, with the objective to improve port corridor operational and environmental performance. 3) The DASHPOP project also aims to deploy an open multi-segment platform capable of transforming large amounts of semi-structured and unstructured existing datasets into actionable information for port authorities but also for port city and regional governments, port supply chain stakeholders, shippers and civil society.
