The Autonomous Ocean: The Next Frontier in Subsea Robotics

1st July 2026, 10:00 – 11:00

Join MarRI-UK’s next webinar presenting Walker Subea.

Background

Global demand for energy resilience is rising. The security of marine transport networks is critical. At the same time, reliance on the oceans for food continues to grow. Together, these pressures are driving the need for more capable and scalable subsea operations. Underwater robotics is becoming a key enabler in meeting this demand. Drawing on cross-industry experience and real-world projects, the session will show how emerging technologies are being applied in practice. It will also examine the business case for adoption, with a focus on risk reduction, operational capability, and long-term value creation.
