Description:

We are advancing wave energy development through our expertise in marine engineering,
environmental impact assessments, and state-of-the-art testing facilities. The University’s Coastal, Ocean, and Sediment Transport (COAST) Laboratory allows researchers and industry partners to simulate and test wave energy devices under various sea conditions. Our experts work on improving the efficiency, durability, and scalability of wave energy technologies, while also addressing the ecological and regulatory challenges associated with their deployment. Through collaborations with industry and policymakers, as well as the training of skilled professionals, the University plays a key role in advancing the wave energy sector and fostering sustainable marine energy solutions.
