KUASAR UK Ltd is delighted to announce that its application to Innovate UK Business Growth for an RTO/Catapult Grant has been approved.
This milestone marks the beginning of KUASAR UK’s development project for a next-generation Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV), designed to enhance operability while integrating low- and zero-emission propulsion technologies. The project will explore an innovative small-waterplane-area hull form alongside suitable low-/no-emission propulsion system architectures, aiming to set a new standard for efficiency and sustainability in offshore operations.
To support this effort, KUASAR UK has engaged Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult and ODSL to carry out an expert study covering end-user requirements, sea-state conditions around offshore wind farms, and market analysis.
Noyan Kilinç, Co-founder of KUASAR UK Ltd, comments:
“We are embarking on this development project on our own initiative. The expert study by ORE Catapult/ODSL will provide valuable insights to guide our engineering decisions and help us make realistic trade-offs throughout the development process. We are especially grateful to Innovate UK for their support, which gives start-ups like ours the confidence and backing to pursue ambitious innovation projects.”
