Welcome to the MarRI-UK weekly roundup!

Last week saw continued momentum across the maritime sector, with developments spanning offshore wind, clean energy, autonomous operations, digitalisation and naval technologies. In the UK, notable activity included the installation of the second Hornsea 3 offshore substation, progress on small modular reactor prospects, advances in autonomous container transport and a landmark AUKUS trial involving an uncrewed submarine. Globally, offshore renewable energy, port investment, shipbuilding and shipping markets remained active, while decarbonisation, alternative fuels and emerging technologies continue to shape the future of maritime.
