Welcome to the MarRI-UK weekly roundup!

Last week’s maritime developments were led by defence, security and decarbonisation. The UK and nine Joint Expeditionary Force nations launched a new maritime partnership, while the UK and Netherlands agreed a £2.4bn amphibious ship programme. The Royal Navy deployed F-35Bs in the Norwegian Sea, BAE Systems expanded defence cooperation with Poland, and cyber resilience initiatives advanced. Offshore wind, fusion and carbon capture projects also progressed, while global momentum continued in alternative marine fuels, naval procurement and tanker newbuild orders.
